Kuopio belongs to Finns. A clear statement of who is who at the FIS Cup stop in Finland's finest ski resort has been made this weekend while the Finnish team avalanched the venue taking almost all they possibly could. Ruuskanen prevailed on Saturday ahead of Muotka and Ylipulli. Finland put the names of their representatives on almost all of the top fifteen spots excluding just two places taken by the Estonians.
Sunday was no different. Top three of Saturday's event simply changed their placings on the podium. Olli Muotka took a strong win ahead of Anssi Ylipulli while Juha-Matti Ruuskanen finished third.
The leaderboard remains unruffled with Austria's Markus Eggenhofer at the helm ahead of his team mate Nikolas Fettner and Kenneth Gangnes of Norway. Next stop on the FIS Cup way this season is Ljubno, Slovenia on Feb 2-3rd.
