With or without the skills of Danny Ocean, Matti Hautamäki, proved again that no casino robbing can be more exciting than the homeground champion event. Hautamäki blazed 99.0 and 101.5 meters in Jyväskylä (HS 108) prevailing over Harri Olli by 18.7 pts. Tami Kiuru came in third.
It was definitely a positive day for Jussi Hautamäki and Juha-Matti Ruuskanen who took the spots right off the podium. Out of luck was third after the opening leg, Sami Niemi, who short-landed his final leap and finished on the far far 20th place.
Janne Ahonen skipped the event due to some health problems.
