Hail to thee, blithe spirit.. The one and only full time leader of the current ski jumping season conquered another hill on his victorious march through the winter world. Thomas Morgenstern grabbed a strong win ahead of Finland's Janne Happonen, showing excellent jumps of 125.5 and 131.5 meters and gaining 261.6 points. With his 249.9 Happonen was far behind. The podium blooming glory was sealed with another Austrian hero, Martin Koch, who's been showing a grand disposition this weekend.

Anders Jacobsen proved some of the best battling skills advansing from the shadows of the farlands straight to the fourth rank and overtaking his team mate, Tom Hilde, by almost 5 points.

Second stage of the Japanese weekend in World Cup ski jumping is planned for tomorrow with Morgenstern remaining on the top-favorite position.
